Ba’t ba ganyan ang mga tao, pilit kang pinapapaniwala sa mga pinaniniwalaan nila?

Consider this conversation with a friend:

 “Tsong, have you found Jesus yet?” tanong nya sa akin.. (parang yung tanong ni Lt. Dan kay Forrest Gump…hehe’)

Sagot ko naman, “What? I didn’t know I was supposed to look for him.” (sinadya ko na gayahin yung sagot ni Forrest Gump kasi hindi ko rin naman alam kung paano ko sasagutin yon..hehe’)

I was being sarcastic then but he didn’t have a clue. And then I said, “I have no plans to ‘find’ him. Can we drop the subject?”

Pero hirit pa niya, “But how are you going to be accepted in the Kingdom of God if you don’t accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior?”

“Look, pare: Yes, I am an agnostic, but that doesn’t make me a bad person. I try not to do bad things to other people and for me that’s enough. I checked your religion’s “ten commandments” and accepting Jesus as a personal savior isn’t one of them. So, you see, I don’t need a personal savior…but that’s just me.  Again, can we drop the subject?”

And this would go on…and on…in circles.  Him trying his best to convince me of his beliefs… This must be what hell would be like if I died (of sheer boredom) at that moment.

And then I would say something like, “Look, If I ask you if I could put cream on your coffee and you said ‘No.’  Wouldn’t you be pissed off if I put some anyway? Well, that’s what you’re doing to me: you’re putting cream on my coffee when I already said I don’t want any.”

And then it would end with something like,

“I would pray for you, tsong.”

Minsan nga, may nagsabi pa saken, “Sige tsong, ipagdadasal ko ang kaluluwa mo.”

hahaha!para namang pag namatay ako, 100% sure na syang mapupunta ako either sa purgatory or sa hell (kung meron man) kaya kailangan ko ng dasal niya. LOL

Ako naman hindi na sasagot nun syempre…hehe’

For some reason, I feel like I’m giving people an impression na I’m either an atheist or the third anti-Christ…haha’

Pero ayus lang…
